ACA MISSION
The Arcadia Chinese Association (commonly known as “ACA”) is a service organization comprised entirely of volunteers from our community.
ACA MISSION Objective are too:
- Bridge cultural gaps within our Arcadia community, assist in the promotion of our community spirit and unity and maximize the harmony and benefits of an ethnically diverse Arcadia community
- Enhance the understanding of Arcadia Chinese residents in American culture, tradition, citizenship, government, schools, civic and community values and affairs
- Enhance the relationship between Chinese and non-Chinese, through organizing educational and cultural activities
- Support educational, charitable and literary events in Arcadia and neighborhood communities
- Provide volunteering service to the residents and community of Arcadia

Our History
- The ACA was established in 1982
- Population of Chinese origin in Arcadia was much lower than today
- Organization’s activities were much smaller in scale
- Nevertheless, the ACA BETWEEN A Relationship Members, City Council Members, and Community Leaders WAS ESTABLISHED
- ACA registered as non-profit organization in 1994
- Elected its president and officers and increased its membership
- City Council Member Gary Kovacic Arcadia joined at The Association or AS A Permanent Member
- ACA issued its first yearbook in 1996
- ACA became 501 (c) (3) public benefit organization in 2007
- Abolished its membership system
- All people up to the WHO the Opened were interested in Volunteering Time and effort to Their Benefit at The Arcadia Community Community and Performing Activities consistent with ACA at The Mission

- Mixer (Seminars, holiday, social, Mother’s Day, volunteers appreciation)
- Mother’s Day Celebration
- Officer Installation and “Get to Know You” event
- Police and Fire Department Thanksgiving appreciation luncheon
- Senior Citizens Luncheon (co-sponsor with City of Arcadia)
